Topelex s.r.o. – Laboratory for CSF, Neuroimmunology, Pathology, and Special Diagnostics

Topelex s.r.o. is a unique multidisciplinary laboratory in the Czech Republic, specializing in advanced diagnostics of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), as well as other extravascular body fluids. Our services span clinical biochemistry, immunology, microbiology, pathology and cytology.

Our laboratory continues the legacy of the Laboratory for CSF and Neuroimmunology at the Department of Neurology, First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague, and later Na Homolce Hospital. In 2008, Topelex was established as an independent legal entity within the Military University Hospital Prague, and since 2013, has been operating primarily from the modern premises of “Clinicum” Hospital Vysočany in Prague 9.

Topelex has a strong multiregional presence, serving healthcare facilities across Czech Republic. Topelex operates as an expert centre for CSF diagnostics within the System of  assessment (EQA -SEKK) in both the Czech and Slovak Republics and participates regularly in national and European interlaboratory quality assurance programs.

As the largest CSF testing facility in the Czech Republic, we also provide specialized diagnostics of other extravascular body fluids and expert services in pathology and cytology.

Topelex s.r.o. is accredited under ČSN EN ISO 15189 by the Czech Accreditation Institute, confirming our commitment to quality and professional excellence.
